THE REPUBLIQANONS: ALL ROGUES LEAD TO TRUMP

Other than how some policies relate directly to busking, typically, I shy away from ever writing about government and politics. But after watching the Marjorie Taylor Greene debacle in the American House of Representatives yesterday, and having some emotional attachment to the entire political enterprise, I felt compelled to write something.  I am presenting this, perhaps, to let the world know that though I am a busker, I am not a nutbar.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a QAnon believer.  Marjorie Taylor Greene believes that the school shootings like Sandy Hook were staged; that California wildfires were the result of Jewish space lasers; that nary an airplane crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11; that the American midterm elections were an Islamic invasion of the US government; that members of the Democratic party are really a cabal of Satanic pedophile cannibals who ought to be executed.  Marjorie Taylor Green is the quintessential personification of all conspiracy theories combined.

Marjorie Taylor Greene attracts the likes of the Proud Boys (a far-right neo-fascist male-only white nationalist organization), the Oath Keepers (a far-right anti-government militia organization), and the Three Percenters (a racist kinship to the Oath Keepers).

Marjorie Taylor Greene et alia attract the Anti-Vaccine activists, the Stop the Steal activists, and of course, the MAGA activists.

Whether members of any of these far-right, god-fearing, heterosexual only, mostly white middle-class monied extremists are sporting their red ball-caps, or peddling their snake-oils and pillows, they are all marching down certain roads, all of which leading to Donald Trump.

And those marching in my CHAUCERIAN PARADE this week:

First in line is Marjorie Taylor Greene, followed by the column-calling craven Kevin McCarthy, followed by ballroom dance partners Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, rolling away is the maskless Rand Paul, weavers and kissers of the ring are the lawless Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani and Lin Wood, barkers Alex Jones and Mike Lindell, falling stars and do-si-do dobbins are Lou Dobbs and Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and Maria Bartiromo, and political right-grand hacks Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes, and last and least on the promenade is the scummy Roger Stone.

Yes, these are all RepubliQAons. 

And so, therefore my snappy title,  

THE REPUBLIQANONS: ALL ROGUES LEAD TO TRUMP.

No busking yarns. No pictures. Just a rant.  Short and sour.
